For more than 90 years, Pearse Bertram+ has been committed to providing the highest-quality automation and process control products and contract manufacturing services throughout New England.
Pearse Bertram+ was originally founded in 1929 by George M. Pearse in Plainfield, NJ as a fluid power rep organization. In 1947 his son, George M. Pearse Jr., along with Robert J. Pearson, incorporated the Pearse-Pearson Company in New England. In the early 1960's the third generation of Pearse's became involved with the company. George Jr.'s two sons joined the company. George (Jeep) Pearse joined the company in 1962 with his brother, John, joining in 1964. Focusing primarily on the growing OEM market in New England, throughout the 1960's and 1970's PPCO grew to be one of the largest and most well respected fluid power distributors in New England. The company’s mission was simple - to serve our customers with the utmost integrity and provide an unmatched level of value. Our humble beginnings started in the machine tool and hydraulic industry, but quickly expanded as our customer list quickly grew.
Four generations later, Pearse Bertram+ has become one of the most trusted providers of end-to-end manufacturing solutions in the Northeast. The company leverages its established supply chains, highly-experienced professionals, and industry-leading technical capabilities to provide its customers with high-quality products and comprehensive contract manufacturing services. We may have humble beginnings, but we have grown to work with the likes of world recognized and corporate OEM brands helping them to support their global operations and supply chains.

We recently modified our name to Pearse Bertram+ to better reflect our capabilities as a full-service, end-to-end manufacturing organization. Yet, we remain committed to the same core values and providing the same great products and services as we have for the last 70+ years.
